The Wright Brothers - Changes outside living memory 

The children will begin to explore the chronological time frame in more detail, building on historical language they have acquired from the previous year. They will be able to place the even into a chronological narrative and explain why and the Wright Brothers invention significantly changed the face of aviation; how this impacted upon our lives today; what changes have occurred since and what has continued; the significance of the invention in flight and global history and begin to use historical sources to ask and answer questions to test a theory.
